Adrian Wallace
With nearly fifteen years of experience, New York native Adrian is passionate, dedicated and energized about his craft. His work is truly an art form that has kept celebrities and clients alike coming back for more. Adrian’s accomplishments include The Oprah Winfrey Show, America’s Next Top Model, Elle, Vogue, Essence, Shape, Self, and Town & Country magazines.
Carrie McCard
Carrie McCard graduated with a BFA in painting, and as a 10 year veteran of the Rita Hazan Team, recognizes that coloring hair is an art form unto itself. Carrie trained and traveled with Rita and now creates glamorous, healthy, natural-looking hair. Carrie provides her clients with a customized color that always looks effortlessly chic.
Nicole Tresch
Philadelphia native Nikki dreamed of being a leading colorist in NYC. After graduating top of her class, she moved to the Big Apple to apprentice with Rita Hazan. Nicole has spent over 5 years traveling cross country with Rita, developing formulas and sharpening her skills that now have clients reaching out to her.
George Papanikolas
Instyle, Allure, and People Magazine have all recognized George as one of the country’s Top Colorists. His signature highlighting style uses the French, freehand technique called ”balayage,” which he uses to create natural-looking, sun-kissed color that looks, as George says, ”like you've spent a summer at the beach, not three hours in the salon.”
Carlina Ortega
Carlina has perfected creating natural blonde highlights and ombré, she's also known for her amazing reds and chocolatey hues. After getting her start at Oribe Salon, Carlina spent seven years producing every shade of "Berdorf Blonde" for celebrities, socialites and royalty in Bergdorf Goodman, before bringing her talent to the Rita Hazan Salon.
Alex Safdari
Alex specializes in the art of ‘balayage’, which makes him highly sought-after by curly and wavy headed patrons with coloring needs. He has also perfected a foiling technique that leaves clients with root-to-tip natural color. With 17 years of experience working on high fashion editorials in Milan, Paris and New York, his clients can always expect the best.
Gio Bargallo
A graduate from Empire Beauty, Gio was trained at the Loreal Academy where he became an expert in Balayage and corrective color. Gio has an incredible eye for brunettes and all shades of red hair. Gio believes that every client is like a piece of art, a new canvas to create what he calls a s'ombre. Gio has worked with Epic Records learning to do wigs/hair extensions for video/models.
Michel McKrieth
Started my early cosmetology career in Albany, NY. Graduating from The Orlo School of Cosmetology, I then relocated to NYC in 2011 to further my training and learn from the best colorist NYC can offer. Trained and traveled to LA regularly with Rita for 5 years. Working alongside Rita with her long list of A-list clients, It was during this time I was able to develop and sharpen my skills that molded me into the Colorist I am today. Nelson Vercher
Chicago native Nelson’s career began at Vidal Sassoon and lead to San Francisco, then to New York, where he worked at John Frieda and Oribe, eventually settling at his long-time friend Rita Hazan’s salon. His work has been featured in Vogue, Elle, Nylon, Italian Vogue, L'officel, Wonderland, Blank and Harper’s Bazaar.
Eugene Toye
Eugene began his career in Vancouver, training with the Vidal Sassoon Academy. He moved to New York in 1994 to work with Oribe. Eugene joined the Rita Hazan salon in 2006. He has styled hair for countless designer runway shows, from Versace and Valentino to Dolce & Gabbana and Jean Paul Gaultier.
Jen Atkin
Jen is known for her ability to meld old school beauty with up to the minute trends. Mentored by Andy Lecompte, Guido, Danilo, and Renato Campora, Jen worked alongside LA’s styling superstars at LeCompte's salon. Jen divides her time between LA and NYC. Her work can be seen in InStyle, ELLE, Esquire, Nylon, Bullet, GQ, and Vogue.
Jennifer Matos
If you ask Jennifer what she thinks is the key to satisfying her clients, she’ll say “listening”. Jennifer earned her title as a stylist with Rita Hazan after years of extensive training. Her unequivocal talent is matched with the knowledge of her profession, courtesy demeanor, and sweet personality that is loved by all.
Cristina B
With mentors like Juan Carlos Maciques, Nelson Vercher, and Andre Rodman, it's no wonder Cristina B. is one of the salon's rising talents. This native New Yorker began her career at the Rita Hazan Salon in 2007, working alongside some of the biggest celebrities and fashion designers, developing a cutting and styling technique that is loved by many.
Mylo Carrion
Mylo is the master of easy to maintain hair, using layering techniques that leave hair fuller and more manageable. It is his strength in creating any hair look that has made Mylo a top choice during fashion week for superstars such as Zac Posen, Valentino, and Jill Stewart, and for iconic brands like Victoria’s Secret and Baby Phat.
Christine Healey
Christine began her career in NYC in 1994. She trained at Frederic Fekkai, and left in 2000 to work with world-renowned hairstylist John Sahag. Christine’s work has appeared in Elle, Allure, Japanese Vogue, Glamour, People, Teen People, Good Housekeeping, Social Life and Quest. Allure has recognized her twice in their beauty directory as one of NYC’s top hairstylists.
Pascal Gantois
After developing his skills in France, Pascal moved to Los Angles in 1990 to work with Jose Eber. In 2000, Pascal relocated to New York and joined Prive Salon, where he has spent the last 12 years. Pascal participates annually in Fashion Week and has been engaged by Elle and Cosmopolitan to design and create hairstyles.
Sean Chin-Sue
Sean Chin-Sue has been personally trained by the Art Directors of Vidal Sassoon, studying in both London and New York. With over 25 years of experience, he has worked with photographers such as Deborah Turberville, Eric Boman, Robert Maplethorpe and Horst. Sean Chin-Sue has styled hair for designer shows such as Ralph Lauren, Diane Von Furstenberg, Theirry Mugler and Claude Montana.
MJ Ruiz
Michael Ruiz AKA MJ, a native from the Dominican Republic- now calls NYC home. Having trained at Rita Hazan with Mylo Carrion for over several years, MJ has acquired a variety of skills direct from the masters. Known for his extensive hair care knowledge, modern aesthetic, and expert over-all styling; MJ has become the best kept secret at Rita Hazan Salon

Sandy Linter
Sandy joined the Rita Hazan Salon in 2006. In 2008 she was named Lancome's Beauty at Every Age Expert. She has lead makeup credit on the 2012 Timothy Greenfield -Saunders documentary, About Face, and two books, Disco Beauty (1980) and The Makeup Wakeup (2010).
Daisy Toye
Daisy first discovered her passion for design as a 12 year old at the School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. As Martha Stewart’s personal makeup artist, she has appeared numerous times as a guest consultant on Martha Stewart’s TV & radio shows. Daisy has her own show, Beauty in 5, on Martha Stewart’s website.

Natasha Boyar
Ukrainian-born Natasha Boyar left a career in engineering for the world of spas and salons where she felt she could fully express her creativity. Natasha joined the Rita Hazan team in 2007 where she offers the use of her magic hands for long-lasting, chip-free manicures and pedicures. Her signature look: a classic, beautiful nail.

Lele Gomes
Born in Brazil, Lele joined the Rita Hazan team in 2011 after 16 years at the J Sisters Salon. Lele has mastered the art of waxing with her unique style and flawless technique. Her work has earned her praise by New York Magazine as one of the best waxing and laser estheticians in NYC.
Nete Ripardo
Nete Ripardo is a New York State licensed medical aesthetician with over 15 years of experience. She obtained her education and training at Christine Valmy International School for Esthetics in NYC. Nete also completed courses at Berkowits School of Electrolysis and Laser and trained in Brazil, where she is from. There she worked with the most well-known doctors in the country and became sought after, not only, in NYC but in Brazil as well. Nete is well known for her expertise in acne treatment, all levels of chemical peels, microneedling and has her tattoo license...

Hy Chalme
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
A master at creating growth strategies from scratch and making sure they're executed to a tee, Hy has brought some serious chops to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Rita Hazan since 2010. Hy is the "Chief" as most refer to him and knows that you need to be organized to be creative.
